Privacy notice
We collect only what we need.
This notice covers the HSTdone website and waitlist, operated by 1001579096 ONTARIO INC. in Ontario, Canada. It is written for PIPEDA: identify the purpose, limit collection, and let you ask for your information or take it back.
Effective 14 October 2026. This notice describes the waitlist site. If we later store receipts and books, we will update it before we collect that information.
Who is responsible
1001579096 ONTARIO INC. is the organization accountable for personal information on this site. The privacy officer is Luke Watkinson. Write to privacy@hstdone.ca.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. You can also give your name, whether you are a sole owner, a corporation, or other, and your province or territory. We store the time you signed up.
The site host may also record standard technical logs, such as a browser type and an IP address, to keep the site running and to limit abuse of the signup form.
What we do not collect
We never ask for banking passwords, bank login details, or copies of ID documents. We do not ask for a payment card to join the waitlist. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use waitlist information to train AI models.
Why we collect it
We use it to tell you when HSTdone opens, to hold the founding price for people who asked for it, and to see which provinces and business types to serve first. Submitting the form is your consent to that email. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete the signup at any time.
Where it is stored
When Resend is configured, your signup is stored as a contact with Resend, which may process information in the United States. The site is hosted on Vercel, which may also process requests outside Canada, including in the United States. If Resend is not configured, the signup is written to a file on the server running this app and recorded in that server's logs.
We keep a waitlist signup until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it to tell you about the launch.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent. Email privacy@hstdone.ca from the address you used to sign up. We will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you are not satisfied.
This is not the product yet
HSTdone does not file taxes and is not an accounting firm. This page does not cover a future bookkeeping account, because that service is not open. We will publish an updated notice before we collect receipts, invoices, or other business records.
